Germicidal ultraviolet-C (UVC) in-duct air cleaners reduce viruses, mold, and bacteria in the air that moves past the bulbs. The air cleaners install into a forced-air HVAC system's main supply or return air duct. They can operate continuously but require the HVAC system to run to move air past the bulbs. They install near the HVAC system's A-coil to prevent mold and bacteria from growing on the A-coil and maintain the efficiency of the system's air conditioning.
